Fund one or more projects useful to professions that produce, disseminate or use legal and legal information. The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) is a government-wide compendium of federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide support or benefit to the American public. It includes financial and in-kind assistance programs administered by federal departments and agencies. Contains a searchable database of federal assistance programs (e.g., a search for “Legal Grants” yielded 69 outcomes, including areas such as seniors` rights, family violence, access for persons with disabilities, higher education infrastructure, and others). The AccessLex Institute`s funding approach focuses on funding projects that have the potential to “make a difference” in legal education. The organization manages five grant programs to fund research and projects related to legal education and our focus on access, affordability and value. These programs have awarded more than six million dollars since their launch in 2014. Law is a core value of the Association of American Law Schools. The following organizations host or list grants and fellowships for law schools. Only members of the association are eligible to apply for an AHA research grant. Grants are awarded annually in June and can be used at any time over the next 15 months for expenses related to ongoing research funding. NASA provides funding to the American Historical Association and the History of Science Society so that both associations can award fellowships. The scholarship is $21,890 for each scholarship. On July 17, 2000, the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) announced the creation of the AALL Research Fund, a foundation established with a $100,000 commitment from LexisNexis®. The fund provides a secure financial basis for the LexisNexis Research Grant jury to implement the association`s research program. This program includes research in the main thematic areas of legal information service delivery, law library collections, legal research, legal librarianship and law library administration. The AHA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of historians from the entire discipline and provides many opportunities to build a professional network, enhance teaching skills, learn about the latest research, and participate in discussions on topics affecting the discipline. The AHA offers the following scholarships to facilitate the participation of graduate students, young researchers, and unemployed/underemployed historians in the annual meeting. Only members of the association can apply. The Fulbright Scholar Program offers combined teaching, research or teaching and research scholarships in more than 125 countries. Opportunities are available for college and university professors and administrators, as well as independent lawyers and researchers. The Littleton-Griswold Fellowship offers fellowships of up to $1,000 for research in U.S. legal history and the broader field of law and society.

The Michael Kraus Fellowship in American Colonial History, with a focus on the intercultural aspects of American and European relations, is endowed with a maximum of US$800. The AHA`s Grants to Support and Advance the Work of Historical Organizations program provides $2.5 million to support dozens of small history-related organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
These grants, ranging from $10,000 to $75,000, fund short-term projects that explore new ideas or build on experiences launched during the pandemic – from virtual programming or online publications to harnessing new technologies or expanding audiences and accessibility. We encourage proposals for ambitious new initiatives as well as small projects that address issues that have arisen as a result of the pandemic. The Cummins grant provides a $10,000 grant to support short-term historical research with specialized collections from GW`s Jacob Burns Law Library, known for its continental historical law collections, particularly its French collection.
